Since its inception in 1989, the ASGA Charitable Trust has been solely reliant on the generosity of its members. What began as a simple way of giving back to the game we love has become a a life-changing organization that is making a difference in the lives of young people across the globe.

It is our goal to continue to grow this Charitable Trust and identify organizations and groups that are making a difference. We ask our membership to join this cause by donating. Our Fund is tax exempt under 501(c)(3) so that contributions are tax deductible by the donor and the Fund is exempt from Federal income tax. The Trust has distributed almost $350,000 to worthy groups since 2002.

Making a donation can be done at anytime. Contact Kevin Patterson at kevin@asgagolf.org for more information.

Recent Charitable Trust donation recipients include:

City Parks Foundation, New York City

Kohler High School Golf Team, 2021 and 2022 State Champions

Button Hole Golf in Providence, RI

The support of our members has allowed the ASGA Charitable Trust to respond to the many requests that we receive. On behalf of our staff and our Board of Directors, we would like to thank our Members for their generous contributions and for helping the ASGA Charitable Trust.

ASGA is proud to maintain an extremely well-endowed Charitable Trust which supports youth through golf in the communities in which we live and visit for Events.

ASGA Charitable Trust donates $25,000 to the Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation

We had the incredible surprise of having Gary Player join us for the opening reception and dinner at the Flagler…

It is only through donors like ASGA that the Foundation can partner with organizations doing vital work and impacting individual children's lives. On behalf of Gary and the late Vivienne Player, and the children that benefit, please accept our heartfelt thanks for joining us on this journey of changing one child's life at a time.
